Description
We're looking for a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse - Inpatient (Nights), working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Glens Falls, New York, United States.- Perform comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnose psychiatric conditions.
- Create individualized care plans based on assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Safely administer and monitor psychiatric medications, educating patients on their usage.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions, counseling, and support to patients and families.
- Monitor patient behavior, prevent crises, and maintain a secure environment to ensure patient safety.

Experience Required for Your Success
- 2+ years of Behavioral Heath Unit experience required
- Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients required
- NY RN or Compact License required
- BLS required
- De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle Certifications preferred
- Cerner experience preferred
- Must be reliable and no attendance or call out concerns
- Must be willing to work in Thanksgiving (including Friday and weekend after) AND Christmas-New Year Day Block, (If Needed/Scheduled)
- Recent travel experience preferred
- Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients preferred
