The Opportunity
Description
- Maintains
the general ledger for the fund, REIT and other related entities.
- Prepares
monthly account reconciliations and work papers to assist in managing the
business.
- Responsible
for cash at the fund level including monitoring of balances, wire
preparation/review and monthly reconciliations.
- Calculates
and process management fees and reimbursable expenses; reconcile all
intercompany accounts.
- Prepares
line of credit draws and quarterly lender reporting.
- Prepares
investor capital call and distribution notices.
- Prepares
quarterly reviews for investors.
- Prepares
annual audited financial statements for the fund.
- Prepares
quarterly fair value (investment company) accounting for real estate and debt
and dividend income.
- Prepares
quarterly investor capital statements and monthly/quarterly NAV statements.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience preferably in public accounting; real estate experience a plus
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge of Yardi accounting or another property management software a plus
- Solid organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management and staff in a team environment
