The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Construction/Property Accountant, working in Real Estate industry in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States.

  • Works with Property & Asset Management Teams to ensure financial integrity of assigned properties.
  • Performs balance sheets, reserves and capital expenditure analysis.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and records adjustments and accruals to general ledger.
  • Reviews and approves invoices in AvidXchange to ensure property coding.
  • Commits Payments once a week on syndicated properties to be cut by Accounts Payable.
  • Prepares CAM & Property Tax Reimbursements (Mid- Year & End of Year).
  • Assists with the preparation of annual budget and property forecasts.
  • Works with outside auditors to complete the annual audit and tax returns.
  • Prepares lender reporting requirements.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience highly preferred
  • Proficient computer and software skills, specifically in Microsoft Office and Yardi (or comparable property management accounting software)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to allocate one's time effectively in a deadline-oriented environment
