The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a RN ICU, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in San Diego, California, United States.

  • Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; assessment/reassessment of cardiac rhythm.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
  • Manage care given to his/her assigned patients.
  • Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • 1 year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred
  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate
  • Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate
  • Ventilator management experience preferred
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • PALS (AHA or ARC) certificate
  • NIHSS Certificate
