The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a RN ICU, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in San Diego, California, United States.- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; assessment/reassessment of cardiac rhythm.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
- Manage care given to his/her assigned patients.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Experience Required for Your Success
- 1 year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate
- Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate
- Ventilator management experience preferred
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- PALS (AHA or ARC) certificate
- NIHSS Certificate
