We're looking for a Medical Imaging Field Service Engineer 2 (AXA), working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Chicago, Illinois, United States.

Then come and join our global team as Customer Service Engineer III to perform service, preventative maintenance, modifications and installations on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision. The primary Imaging Modality for this specific Job opening is AX/XP/CT imaging Equipment. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Customer Service Engineer 2 you will be responsible for:

  • Performs complex equipment installation, trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls.
  • Performs complex product and service training to customers.
  • Performs complex maintenance using tools, test equipment, etc., and completes and documents all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures.
  • Performs service on complex imaging systems.
  • Communicates and interfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
  • Performs assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements.
  • Participates in the negotiation and administration of service or systems contracts.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • HS diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in Electronics or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred)
  • Specialized skill training/certification may be required
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of key responsibilities
  • Strong customer service skills are a requirement
  • Ability to provide general guidance to others and train lower level employees
  • Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts
  • Valid Driver's license in good standing
  • Must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan
