The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Travel CT Technologist, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Arizona, United States.

Pay:$3100per week with stipend included

We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist with experience in operating CT scanners, analyzing images, and maintaining patient records. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams, assisting radiologists in interpreting results, and working directly with patients to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure. The CT Technologist will also perform routine maintenance and quality control procedures on equipment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners and other radiographic equipment following established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans
  • Administer contrast agents as ordered by the physician
  • Evaluate images to determine the quality of the scan and make adjustments as necessary
  • Manage patient records and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure all equipment is operating correctly
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
  • Adhere to departmental protocols for radiation safety and infection control

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current state license as a CT Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of CT equipment, protocols, and procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and the ability to lift and move patients
  • Ability to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and maintain professionalism at all times
