The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Test Engineer, working in IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in 10300 Energy DR, Spring, Texas, 77389, United States.

  • Support FW Engineering team for field issue reproduction and validation.
  • Troubleshoot reported issues, including general triage & debug.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders from development teams, architects, and test engineers for the resolution of open issues.
  • Work with architects on new proof-of-concept feature setup and validation execution.
  • Collect debug logs, and analyzer logs including Logic Analyzer, USB Analyzer, PD Analyzer, and DP Aux Analyzer.
  • Provide weekly status reports for reported issues and progress and validation progress reports for proofs-Of-Concept features to distribute to relevant stakeholders.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Computer Engineering/EE/Computer Science degree
  • Abilityto work independently with minimal instructions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient with Windows 10 & 11
  • Experience working well with partners, internal and external
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • USB/USB-C-related knowledge
  • Experienced with Docking Technologies
  • Experienced with PD (Power Delivery) protocol
  • Experienced with DisplayPort protocol
  • Experienced with Debug tools (Logic analyzer (Saleae),USB analyzer,PD analyzer,DP aux analyzer)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to review hardware schematics
