The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse, working in Correctional industry in 14601 Pleasant Valley Road, Kuna, Idaho, United States.- Administrate medications and prescribed treatments under supervision.
- Provide direct patient care to include gathering vital signs, subjective and objective information, and other services to support patient care.
- Coordinate care closely with security staff while maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship
- Maintain an ethical commitment to ensure confidentiality within the limits of a correctional environment.
- Deliver care in a nonjudgmental/nondiscriminatory manner.
- Understand and comply with safety and security rules and regulations of the institution.

Experience Required for Your Success
- 1 year work experience as a LPN preferred (Fresh graduates are welcome)
- Experience in a correctional environment preferred
- Must hold valid state LPN license in Idaho
- Ability to show current tuberculosis documentation, must be appropriately certified in first aid, Cardiopulmonary
- Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS), and automated external defibrillator (AED) preferred
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
