The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Registered Nurse [RN] - Correctional, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in 14601 Pleasant Valley Road, Kuna, Idaho, United States.

  • Administer ordered medications and implement relevant treatments.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to meet physiological, psychosocial and emotional needs of the patient.
  • Coordinate care closely with security staff while maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship.
  • Maintain an ethical commitment to ensure confidentiality within the limits of a correctional environment.
  • Deliver care in a nonjudgmental/nondiscriminatory manner.
  • Understand and comply with safety and security rules and regulations of the institution.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • 1-year work experience as an RN
  • Experience in a correctional environment preferred
  • Must hold a valid state RN license in Idaho
  • Must show current tuberculosis documentation, must be appropriately certified in first aid, Cardiopulmonary
  • Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS), and automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
