The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for an Oracle Developer, working in Financial Services industry in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.- Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is verified and quality is checked.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture development and utilization.
- Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement, standard and custom processes in ODI.
- Develop data warehouse solutions per the given business requirements.
- Develop and/or enhance database schemas to fulfill the business requirements.
- Develop Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes for ingesting data to the Data Warehouse.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on requirements.
- Work with other Tableau team and develop necessary mappings to bring the data into data warehouse based on the need.
- Write SQL, PL/SQL programs and ongoing performance tuning.
- Ensure issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitor outstanding service requests, patch applications and associated testing.
- Provide support to the enterprise solutions.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and ongoing maintenance of Data Warehouse on Oracle platform
- Experience reverse engineering and documenting the requirements from existing code (Oracle stored procedures, functions, SQL and other ETL code)
- Experience in coding complex SQL queries for OLAP, Decision Support, Analytical use cases
- Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous warehouse, Oracle data integrator and business intelligence tools and best practices
- Experience with dimensional modeling, star schemas, and RDBMS
- Experience in dimensional data modeling
- Expert in writing SQL, PL/SQL programs
- Any experience with data visualization tools like Tableau is a big plus
- Comprehensive knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform requirements analysis
- Expertise and skills with technical and functional problems identification, resolving, and tracking
- Ability to communicate at all level business, colleagues, and management
