The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for an Environmental Attendant, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in 2001 Medical Parkway, Annapolis, Maryland, 21401, United States.

  • Maintain the hospital environment in a clean and sanitary condition through disinfecting surfaces and organizing areas in an attractive manner.
  • Present customer focus and friendly atmosphere.
  • Maintain all assigned areas by washing furnishings with approved disinfectants, arranging furniture and accessories per established standards.
  • Empty, clean, and reline waste receptacles following universal precautions, empty soiled linen hampers, and dispose of correctly via linen chute.
  • Dust, sweep, and vacuum assigned areas according to Departmental standards and report all stains.
  • Check and replenish all disposable supplies daily as needed (e.g. soap, paper towels, toilet tissue) in all assigned areas.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment in proper working order, reporting to supervisor any need for repairs.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in cleaning/buffing floors.
  • Experience in working in a hospital setting is a plus.
  • Able to lift heavy weights a plus.
  • Can work nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Willing to be trained.
