The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Logistics Specialist, working in Oil and Gas industry in Houston, Texas, United States.

  • Collect data for export shipments and prepare documents to assist in shipping order to maintain on time shipments to customers.
  • Perform data entry into respective systems timely & accurately, and complete paperwork associated with these tasks.
  • Download and label shipping pictures.
  • Create paperwork for Export shipments.
  • Create special tags/markings for export shipments.
  • Create packing list and prioritize orders for crating and shipping.
  • Request shipping through customers portals.
  • Notify and work with other departments to get orders shipped.
  • Scan and maintain all shipping documents.

Experience Required for Your Success

• College or University Degree.
• 3-5 years equivalent related work experience in logistics operation.
• Must be fluent in Spanish (speaking and writing).
• Must have experience with MEXICO Customs and MEXICO importing and exporting.
• Good working knowledge of principal modes of shipment; road, sea and air.
• Strong international customs knowledge and experience.
• Possess considerable knowledge of INCOTERMS, documentation and international customs requirements.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with an excellent customer service mindset & approach
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Maintain good communication skills (verbal and written) with both clients, vendors and colleagues.
