The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer, working in Telecommunications industry in Englewood, Colorado, 80111, United States.

  • Automate existing manual tasks and deployments as well as assist the software project teams with application deployment on a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Design, develop, and manage automation solutions for critical DevOps tasks across the enterprise.
  • Build scripts and configuration management tools to automate deployments, reporting, and infrastructure work.
  • Work with other DevOps engineers in areas other than data centers and Kubernetes to be able to automate and document deployments successfully.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of experience with a strong DevOps background in technologies like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkin
  • Solid understanding of data center deployments, and some background in deploying and engineering applications on Kubernetes
  • Linux knowledge is required
  • Experienced back-end developer (preferably Java or Go), then moved into DevOps
  • Expert-level experience working with Kubernetes
  • Strong AWS experience
  • Experience working with Rancher is preferred (version 2.0 or higher is preferred)
  • Github experience
  • Experience working with Helm Charts and building out Infrastructure As Code (IaC)
  • Experience with Terraform Scripts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
