The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Fixed Income Trader, working in Banking/Finance industry in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.- Oversees trade settlement and operations management.
- Manages trading of equity and fixed-income securities for seven portfolio managers while ensuring best execution practices, seeing all trades through to settlement.
- Maintains the research commission budget and satisfies soft-dollar obligations.
- Plays a key role in firm operations, compliance, and general administration.

Experience Required for Your Success
- BA/BS degree or equivalent with coursework in finance or accounting is desirable
- 7 years of experience in trading, account reconciliation and/or operations
- Familiarity with the Advent/Genesis portfolio management system
- Self-starter who is adept at problem-solving and functioning in multiple roles
- Attention to detail and a disciplined work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate on decision-making
