The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Database Administrator, working in Chemicals industry in Washington, District of Columbia, United States.- Provide database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
- Establish, manage and scale data pipelines from internal and external data sources to support new product launches and drive data quality across data products.
- Establish and own the automation and monitoring frameworks that capture metrics and operational KPIs for data pipeline quality and performance.
- Provide architectural capabilities and maturity of the data platform by engaging with enterprise architects and strategic internal and external partners.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of experience with Data Analytics tools and Data Warehousing
- 2-4 years of experience in SQL optimization and performance tuning, and development experience in programming languages like Python, Spark, Scala, etc.)
- Expertise in the following GCP Products and Services: Google Compute. Engine (GCE), Google Kubernetes (GKE), App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Big query, and Cloud Functions
- Cloud data engineering experience in Azure a plus
