The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Procurement Manager, working in Manufacturing industry in Chicago, Illinois, United States.- Conduct requests for information (RFI), request for pricing (RFP), evaluate vendors and negotiate to leverage the best combination of service and price.
- Provide recommendations to Sr. Management.
- Manage procurement of all raw materials, communication of raw material forecast and strategic capacity planning.
- Align raw material quality, performance testing and specification adherence with Product Manager.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
- 2+ years experience in procurement or related field
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
- Strong leadership capabilities
