The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Senior Property Accountant, working in Real Estate industry in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.- Provide back up and support to the Fund Controller and Assistant Controller as needed.
- Maintain/reconcile general ledgers and work papers.
- Record journal entries.
- Reconcile CAM's, bill backs and calculate escalations.
- Conduct routine audits. Provide budget to actual variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing year-end and quarterly financial statements for investment funds.
- Maintain, reconcile and record monthly third party property management accounting.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the operations by keeping information confidential.
- Prepare special reports and projects, collect, analyze and summarize information and trends.

Experience Required for Your Success
- BS degree in Accounting/Finance
- 3 years of experience in real estate accounting
- Yardi experience a plus
- High proficiency in Excel software
