The Opportunity


We're looking for Lead Data Analyst , working in Travel, Transport and Logistics industry in Jacksonville, Florida, United States.

  • Lead a team of data scientists and analysts using machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions for business problems.
  • Manage the implementation of data ingestion strategies, data warehouse and data mart structures, semantic layers and models, visualizations, and API integrations for end-to-end data analytics solutions on our tech stack – Snowflake, Dataiku, PowerBI, AWS and Mulesoft.
  • Create and sustain a high level of automation across all ML life cycle activities to include developing code and making sure that ML models are production ready.
  • Develop governance principles, support administration, and lead democratization of the company's data science platform, Dataiku.
  • Build/deploy scalable machine learning API services.
  • Collaborate with various business units on projects to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
  • Create the technology road map to achieve business goals.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a closely related field
  • Experience with Business Intelligence software and Microsoft Office applications, including a desire to learn new tools/methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of various algorithms and their applicability to solving problems via AI/ML
  • Strong finance knowledge to be able to analyze financial benefits of various solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to own and support projects from inception to release through self-supervision, problem solving, and time management
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams on a multitude of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to troubleshoot various technical issues and research effective solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of organization, and analytic skills to convert data into decision and insightful stories
