The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for HR Generalist, working in Staffing/Recruiting industry in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.

  • Consulting with branch management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Maintaining employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Managing and resolving employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Maintaining HRIS systems and audits consistently for accuracy.
  • Providing support to employees on use of HRIS.
  • Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation for their partners.
  • Maintaining the employee handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed.
  • Maintaining website for HR data and information postings, birthdays, etc.
  • Keeping employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
  • Creating reports and maintain data as requested for leadership.
  • Processing employee action forms with proper approvals; disseminates approved forms.
  • Performing day to day HR administrative team support.
  • Supporting miscellaneous projects, employee engagement, events, etc. as requested.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university is strongly preferred
  • 5 years experience in HR Generalist, or business partner role
  • Preferable experience in Light industrial, HR/Operations, or staffing
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including benefits, employee relations, federal and state respective employment laws, performance management, etc.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Extreme attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines, ability to multi-task
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills
